Jessica Brown

Growing up in the creative environment of Silicon Valley, Jessica Brown developed a deep appreciation for the rolling hills of Northern California and the ever-changing waves of the Santa Cruz coastline. Although she has always been drawn to art, her artistic journey began with graphite and pencil before eventually discovering oil painting.

Painting became a creative outlet during a particularly challenging period in her life, revealing the restorative power of art and inspiring her to create work that evokes peace, reflection, and connection. That experience continues to influence her artistic vision and her belief that art has the ability to bring moments of calm and beauty into everyday life.

Working primarily in oil on canvas, Jessica paints entirely from memory. Rather than depicting specific locations, her landscapes are expressions of emotion, movement, and atmosphere. Each piece is intended to capture a feeling, inviting viewers to experience the tranquility, energy, and wonder found in the natural world.

Jessica’s work has been exhibited at Artsy Fartsy Art Gallery in Carson City, Nevada, and is also available through her online gallery, Jessica’s Pacification.
