About The Artist

American Contemporary Artist

Jessica Brown

Growing up in the high energy, creative hub of Silicon Valley, Jessica developed a great love for the green rolling hills and the ocean waves of Santa Cruz. Jessica has always been creative, but was not allowed to use paints in her childhood, so she began her artistic journey working with graphite on paper.

After a traumatic event in 2012 Jessica developed PTSD. The constant anxiety and depression plagued her, but using her paint brushes brought peace and calm. A spark was lit and she knew she had to help others through artistic expression. Years later, Jessica is working towards her passion.

Jessica Brown’s main medium is oil on canvas. She works solely off of memory. Each painting expresses a feeling, not a place. Jessica wants the viewer to feel the peace and movement that is all around us. Her hope is that her paintings can bring peace to those who view her artwork.

As of 2020, Jessica’s work can be found in Artsy Fartsy Art Gallery in Carson, City, Nevada and her online gallery, Jessica’s Pacification. She is currently working on her new Still Waters Collection. She is also working on a future exhibition that will be presented in Sierra Arts Gallery in Reno, Nevada July 2021.
